Principle Soprano

Hello and welcome to Surprise Singers.

I trained at the renowned Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore and upon graduating in 2008, moved to Hong Kong where I performed the role of Belle in “The Golden Mickeys”, Disneyland.

After relocating to the UK in 2009, I secured the role of Sister Sophia in The Really Useful Group/David Ian’s touring production of “The Sound of Music” with Connie Fisher and Jason Donovan (where I met my husband Nicholas Maude).

In 2012 I landed the part of cover Christine Daaé in “The Phantom of the Opera” (Her Majesty’s Theatre, London) where I fulfilled my dreams portraying the role 70 times.

Most recently I have become the Musical Theatre teacher at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood, together with providing private tuition (coaching many aspiring students towards their LAMDA exams).

Last year I set up my first audition only adult musical theatre vocal ensemble called "In Good Company" where we aim to raise money for charitable causes through our performances.
